|Primary Function||The Department of English at The University of the South will be hiring a visiting assistant professor (sabbatical replacement) for 2019-20 in Modern British literature.|
|Typical Duties & Responsibilities||Course load will be three courses per semester (likely one upper-level and two sections of a literature-based composition course).|
|Education||PhD or ABD considered|
|Experience||The successful candidate will show evidence of effective classroom teaching and a commitment to scholarly research and publication.|
