The English Department seeks to appoint a full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Victorian Studies. The post-holder will undertake the normal teaching, research and administrative duties expected of a Lecturer in English and will be expected to have teaching experience and research interests principally in the area of Victorian Studies.
The post is full time, starting from September 1, 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter. Starting salary will be in the range of £39,351 - £51,785 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
