British Literature with a focus on the long nineteenth century

The Department of English at the University of Idaho seeks to hire an Assistant Professor of British Literature with a focus on the long nineteenth century. This is a tenure-track, 9-month/year, assistant professor position, with the possibility of a separate summer contract. Areas of specialization should include Romantic and Victorian literature. Desired secondary interests may include critical theory, gender/sexuality studies, ecocriticism, and/or other areas of cultural studies. S/he will teach five English department courses/year, at lower and upper division levels (including graduate seminars).
