“19th-Century Military Theaters”

This panel aims to address the connections between military mobilizations around the globe during the nineteenth century and theatrical mobilizations at home and abroad. The panel organizers encourage submissions focused on melodrama, but invite papers engaged with any convergence of theater and the military in the nineteenth century.
